- Analyze salary and wage reports and information to formulate a competitive compensation plan.
- Draft and implement directives for department managers conceing employment opportunities, reimbursements, compensation, and employee benefits.
- Take legal assistance to make certain that policies comply with the local and national laws.
- Develop and keep a human resources system that synchronizes with the top management information needs.
- Maintain and oversee the recording and preserving of records required by the govement as well as other departments in the organization.
- Administer the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records pertaining to the employees of the organization.
- Identify, understand and implement legal requirements and the regulations pertaining to human resource functions. Ensure compliance with the legal policies, procedures, and reporting. Observe and analyze legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to keep up with the industry trends.
- Write and deliver presentations to corporate offices, govement officials, educational institutions, etc regarding human resources policies and practices.
- Gove and administer benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
- Coordinate safety committee meetings as a Safety Director.
- Coordinate with the labor union as and when required.
